These terms govern your use of Porchlight. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under it. Access to a search is by invitation, and you should only invite people you trust with its contents.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, documents and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run Porchlight for you and the members of your search. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Porchlight for anything illegal or harmful.
• Don't try to access searches or data you weren't invited to.
• Don't disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.

Information is not advice

Property data, value estimates, commute times and AI-generated summaries may be incomplete or wrong. They are for reference only and are not financial, legal, real estate or inspection advice. Verify anything important with a qualified professional before making decisions.

Availability

Porchlight is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in the app.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Porchlight after a change means you accept the new terms.
